Improving Your Website Rankings Is One Of The Best Ways To Make Money Online

Posted by on Monday, 19 September, 2011

Website rankings are always important if you are looking for ways to make money online. Everyone wants to make sure that their site makes it to the top. Unfortunately, since there are literally an endless number of websites all over the web, only a few will make it to the front page. Most people are under the assumption that in order to make it to the first couple of pages of Google or other popular search engine, a website must be optimized with keywords. The good news is that this isn’t always so.

There are several other factors that contribute to a site’s search engine success. More than anything, it’s about marketing. It’s true that some websites are not optimized at all and are still able to pop up in the search results. One of the best ways to ensure that your site is seen is by using back links. Back links will be displayed on various websites ultimately link back to your site. You can create the back links yourself or hire a professional, either way, back links are very effective.

Another way that unoptimized sites achieve high website rankings is through article marketing. People search for information on the web by looking it up in article directories, which ultimately contain links to websites, helping online entrepreneurs and companies gain more traffic. The more articles, the better. With this method, it’s best to write at least a batch of 2 to 3 articles per week, submit them to various directories, and include links throughout the article.

Perhaps one of the most common reasons why certain websites achieve higher website rankings than those that are optimized for the search engines is due to overall content and popularity. When a site provides information that is highly useful to the user, the word will spread and the traffic will increase. Creating this social proof is one of the most powerful ways to make money online.

Video marketing is yet another way that websites attain a high level of traffic. Video marketing is free and easy to do, requiring at very least a few videos per week. If the video goes viral, even more traffic is acquired. Lots of SEO services specialize in video marketing to help sites increase traffic and sales.

Some people market solely through their blogs. As long as the blogs are attractive, helpful, and informative, they usually do well. However, blogs must be marketed by using many of the same above-mentioned methods including back links, videos, and articles.

Ultimately, the more marketing methods a person utilizes, the better the results will be. As long as the other marketing methods are supported by popular sites (such as popular article-marketing sites such as Ezinearticles and Articlebase), blog marketing sites (such as blogative), and popular video marketing websites (such as YouTube), success is easily achieved.

As you can see, you don’t necessarily need to use keywords (although they can help), as the use of keyword optimization is not the only way to attain good website rankings and succeed with one of the best ways to make money online.

Important Factors To Improve Website Rankings

Posted by on Friday, 16 September, 2011

There are many ways to generate good quality traffic, such as using pay per click, article marketing, banner advertising, and organic searches from the major search engines. Out of all of these methods, organic search traffic tends to bring the best quality traffic in high numbers to your website. However, in order to achieve this, it is essential that your website rankings are at least within the top ten results of the major search engines. More importantly, you want to make sure that your Google rank is very high, as this is where most of the traffic will be coming from.

In order to get good website rankings, there are quite a few factors that you need to keep in mind when developing your website and content. First of all, you will want to know exactly what keywords that you will be looking to rank for, as this in turn will dictate the type of traffic that will come to your site.

Once you know the keywords you will be using, it is important to insert them in the title of your site as well as throughout the body, without unintentionally spamming your content with your chosen key-phrases. It is also helpful to include your keywords in your H1, H2, and H3 tags, as well as in your meta-tags. By doing so, you are helping the search engines to have a better understanding of what your site is about, thus allowing them to give more importance to those keywords. This in turn will help a lot in getting better web rankings for those particular keywords.

Once you have completely developed your site and content, the next step is to get as many backlinks as possible to your website. However, when doing so, it is important that the anchor text within these backlinks contain the keywords that you are looking to rank for. It is also important that you build your links up in a natural way so that the major search engines do not penalize you for trying to manipulate their algorithms. Now while all of the points mentioned above do play a major role in helping you to get decent website rankings, there are far more factors that need to be considered.

Therefore, it is important that you always keep yourself up-to-date with the latest search engine news, as this will ensure that you follow the rules that have been stipulated by the search engines, which in turn will ensure that your site continues to rank well indefinitely.

Website Rankings: Why Your Website Isn’t Showing Up On Google

Posted by on Saturday, 20 August, 2011

Website rankings are an essential part of having a popular website; any website owner that wants to make money should look into optimizing their website for Google and other search engines. Search engine optimization (SEO) helps attract visitors searching for the information that you offer on your site.

While there are ways to manipulate your website to make it search engine friendly, the best thing you can do is make sure that everything on your site is sensible, well written and relevant to your product. Here are some reasons why your website may not be showing up on Google:

- Could your content use some work? Well-written content, updating frequently and having a good, well-designed presentation are the best things you can do to make sure that visitors come and stay.

- Have you submitted your website to a directory? This is a good way to boost Google rankings, as well as attracting the additional traffic from that directory’s regular users.

- Does your website have Facebook integration? Are you using social media to promote your site e.g. Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, etc.? A good social media presence goes a long way to attract new visitors and provide links to high traffic sites. This is probably the best way to gain a good spot in the Google rankings.

- Are your Back links in order? If these are not well implemented you are missing lots of traffic.

- Perhaps the problem is that your website is not cataloged with search engines. This is a necessary step so that they can index the information contained in your site.

- Is your blog written in a way that is friendly to search engines? Make sure there are several keywords or phrases that convey what you are selling or saying.  Make sure these appear several times in what you write. Use them in the title and at the beginning and end of your text. You can make many little tweaks to your content so that search engines find it more easily. Take the time to do this and your ranking will surely go up.

- Is the title and name of your website related to the content? Making sure that everything is consistent and linked a sensible way helps a lot in having it appear in Google consistently. The title, name, subtitles, tags and content must be related to the same subject and, preferably, use the same terms.

Again, the best way to boost your website rankings is having a good presentation and good content. Since the best-known ways to have Google take notice of your site is to be linked consistently by high-traffic sources and having content that is useful and informative. You want visitors that will come back, and strong writing and quality product is the best way to achieve this.

How To Get Great Website Rankings Regardless Of Whether Someone Steals Your Content

Posted by on Friday, 12 August, 2011

We are all taught that article marketing is one of the most powerful ways to make money online, as it not only sends qualified traffic to your site, but also ensures that you have great website rankings. The reason for this is because content is king, and therefore it is important to write as much content as possible, especially for other websites, which in turn will link back to your own site in order to gain both ranking position and overall credibility.

While this approach still strongly stands true today, there are a few challenges you as an Internet marketer faces every time one of your articles goes live on the Internet. One of the biggest debates going around is whether or not Google is able to determine if the content you are publishing on your website is original. The reason why this is an issue is because a lot of the content that gets written will be used over and over by other Internet marketers, which is especially the case if you submit your articles to article directories. In addition, if you decide to use an article that is not original on your own website, there is the fear that Google will also recognize this article as being duplicate, and in turn will penalize your site, thus causing your website rankings to suffer.

First of all, keep in mind that content is continuously shared on the Internet, as this is what creates a buzz. If you look at all the news sites on the Internet, you will soon realize just how much of that content has been copied from the original source, and yet Google still ranks these sites very well.

Of course, the real issue really occurs when a regularly crawled site steals your content and then ranks well for that stolen content only because Google found it on their site before realizing that it was in fact written originally from your site. This in turn leaves you with poor website rankings, in spite of the fact that the content was originally written by you. Google has admitted that it isn’t easy to always distinguish the true author from the person that has stolen the content, and therefore in most cases, will generally give preference to the first website that they find the written content on.

The good news is that while Google might use this method of ranking content, there are a few steps you can take to ensure that you as the original author is able to have your content indexed first, which in turn allows you to be ranked at a better position within the search engines. An effective way to achieve this is by always generating as many back links as possible to your written content as soon as it is published.

In other words, send tweets to it, and also take advantage of using many of the social network sites to promote your newly written content, as many of these networks get regularly crawled by Google, which in turn gives you a better chance of having Google crawl your site before someone else steals your original content. By taking this approach, you will find that you have more success in your website rankings, regardless of whether someone steals your content or not.

Effective Ways To Make Money Online

Posted by on Thursday, 11 August, 2011

No doubt you have been flooded with information on ways to make money online by other Internet marketers, with each of them having their own specific idea, or simply rehashing ideas off other marketers. However, when you take a step back and look at the big picture, one crucial factor will always pop up, which is website rankings. More importantly, you will find that achieving top positions in all the major search engines requires effective social media marketing as well.

Without top website rankings, all the ways to make money online become ineffective, because you always need a decent amount of good quality traffic coming to your website. More importantly, you will find that the most effective traffic comes from Google’s search engine. For this reason, a large number of Internet marketers will do whatever they can to understand the algorithms of Google’s search engine in order to rank well, which in turn forces Google to come up with even smarter ways to ensure that their algorithms cannot be manipulated so easily.

One of the latest ways in which they are able to achieve this is by utilizing social media marketing through the use of the Google +1 button. In other words, Google understands that it is not only the links pointing back to one’s site that dictates that site’s overall authority, but rather the amount of buzz that is created within many of the social media networks. Therefore, a vote of popularity by more than just one person in a particular social network can have a huge say on your overall rankings in Google. So if you are looking for effective ways to make money online, you might want to take Google seriously on this move.

The good news is that there is a powerful tool online that can help you to create this type of buzz in order to show Google that your site has a good amount of natural popularity surrounding it. This particular tool is provided by a service known as SYNND. This service uses a very different approach to link building compared to other link building services that utilize social media marketing. Instead of getting one link off as many social networks as possible, they focus on a few authoritative social networks, and then to provide you with many links from each of these networks throughout the month, thus creating natural buzz that is needed to rank well.

In fact, because SYNND understands just how important it is to create this type of buzz in order to rank well, they are now looking at ways to implement the Google +1 feature into their service, thus making their overall link building service even more powerful than the average Joe.

So if you are looking for effective ways to make money online, then you might want to seriously consider the services of SYNND, because they are one of the few companies that are keeping up with Google’s changes.

Is There An Easy Way To Get Your Site Ranked In Google?

Posted by on Thursday, 28 July, 2011

How do you rank a website in Google? It’s not complicated. As I’ve stated for a very long time, to rank in Google you need only follow this simple 3-step process: First, build a lot of links to your site from a bunch of geographically diverse web sites. Then make sure those links are built over time, not all at once, so that they appear “natural.” And finally make sure those links get indexed by Google.

If you can do those three things, you can rank well in Google. The more competition there is, the more links you need to build, but the same process applies no matter how tough your target market is.

But each of those steps, when done manually, is very time consuming. First, you have to find sites willing to give you the links. I’m talking hundreds, maybe even thousands, of sites. Second, you have to space out your link submissions over time (and somehow keep track of how many you’ve posted where and when). Third, you have to build MORE links to THOSE pages containing your new links in order to make sure those new links are seen by Google and counted toward your ranking. Sounds like a lot of work, right? Let’s dream together for a bit.

My ideal “dream” software would be capable of doing the following:

1. My ideal Google-ranking software would create all of the accounts at all of the article sites, blog sites and web 2.0 properties (hundreds of them) that I want to get links from. I don’t want to have to go to those sites myself to set these up.

2. My ideal Google-ranking software would then post my articles to those sites and blogs AND create the user profiles with my links in them automatically. And of course, it would include the ability to spin the articles, posts and profile information so each one is unique.

3. My ideal Google-ranking software would spread out that link creation over time to make sure they appear “natural” to Google. I want to “set it and forget it.”

4. My ideal Google-ranking software would provide a way to make sure that all of my articles, blog posts and user profiles with my links in them got indexed in Google
FAST.

Having a piece of software that could do all that would seriously improve how quickly I could do all of the search engine optimization work that I’m already doing. But guess what? I already have that dream tool and it’s called Linx Boss! I’ve had it for awhile and what astounds me most about this software is how EASY it is to use despite how powerful it is. You really don’t have to be an SEO wizard to make this thing work.

Do yourself and your business a favor and check out LinxBoss today!

Things To Do Now To Improve Your Website Rankings

Posted by on Wednesday, 6 July, 2011

It is essential to many people who maintain blog sites or have online businesses to have high search engine rankings. Having good website rankings will ensure you’re your target market will be able to find your business; thus the profits. Saying as much, knowing how you can get and keep high rankings on search engine results is very important.

One of the most affordable and commonly used methods is to take advantage of popular keywords which your target market are using when they use search engines. The idea behind such a method is that you are letting your buyers find your site and your products much quicker and easier. Do remember to avoid smothering your site or your content with keywords though, as this will not help improve your rankings one bit, often times, overusing keywords would result to lowering your rankings and this is something you would not want to happen.

The quality of your site’s content is also another thing you need to consider to improve your site’s rankings. Google Rankings, for example, are improved by keeping your site’s content updated. This is because most customers would like to access your site if you always have fresh content. It is also a great way to attract new site visitors, since new visitors can all possibly be regular clients. You can also consider linking relevant sites or pages onto your own website or blog; not only will this help improve your site’s rankings, it will also help you establish an image of credibility to your customers.

One more way to improve your rankings is to use an auto responder on your blog or website. By sending out a response to target customers who register with your site can help your online business get more visitors. And as we all know, the more visitors you have, the higher your site ranking will get.

Using social media marketing is also another way for you to be able to tap into as many of your target consumers as possible. Inbound social buzz surrounding the deep content of your site not only increases the visibility of your content, it tells Google that your content is “popular”, “timely” and “relevant”. Google loves this type of content and Social Media Science’s SYNND can help your business create this social proof and improve your website rankings.
