Collectible items generally need some time to gain (or loose) value. If someone could make money buying something at full retail, and turn around and sell it on e-Bay…everyone would do it. Most are scams. Consider the perspective of companies: why would they pay you to take surveys? What knowledge, information, or experience do you possess that brings them value? Probably very little. Most survey sites pay a few pennies per survey and you must earn at least $75 before they pay you anything. As a work at home mom, I’ve found that a majority of these programs are scams… However I would not discredit all of them. I have tried 6 or 7 of these type programs and have had success with only a couple. Like someone else said, most of the scams require you to pay money before making money.

But since when was there ever a business that didn’t need a small amount of start up money? Every business requires some kind of monetary investment.

If you are just starting out and don’t have a budget to get a domain name and hosting then I would suggest doing a combination of building websites on places like wordpress.com and also submitting relevant articles on places like ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com, and more. This should be a good start to help you learn more about internet marketing as it takes awhile to get used to all of the tips and tricks involved to make a large profit. Hi Amber, well you can’t really control what the marketer does with their product on their website. If they change the product, you will have to change your affiliate link. I am not aware of any automatic scripts or blog plug ins that can automatically change your link.

Here are a couple of very cool ways to kind of hide your affiliate link so that it does not appear as an affiliate link. You will need to have your own domain and hosting setup. These will work if you are using blogger.com or a hub-page but you need at least one domain hosted in order to make the scripts work.

1. Create a new directory on your domain and name it something. Free or Cool Offer, etc.
Copy the code below into notepad (Not Microsoft Word!) and name the file index.php. Where you see location, place your affiliate link. When somebody clicks on your link, they will go to the file, index.php and it will automatically redirect the web user to the affiliate link. This works very well with Clickbank offers, etc
